Greenwood First Baptist Church Student Ministry

Welcome to GFBC’s Student Ministry webpage!  Whether one is a middle schooler, high schooler, college student,

or  a “20-something,”  consider this site an invitation to a spiritual journey.  At GFBC, there are resources,

opportunities, and encouragement to further one's journey and grow one's faith.  GFBC offers weekly Bible study,

worship, fellowship, annual retreats and mission trips.  Youth are encouraged to discover where they fit into GFBC

Student Ministry’s mission of connecting students with God and each other through Jesus Christ.  For additional

Weekly Student Ministry Schedule

Sunday   

                 10:00 am – Bible Study (Middle School Lounge, High School Lounge, and College & Career Classroom)

11:00 am – Worship (Sanctuary)

  5:00 pm – Voices of Grace Youth Choir Practice (Choir Room)

  6:00 pm– “Word” Youth Bible Study (Middle School Lounge on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month)

Wednesday

 6:00 pm – High School Lounge opens (come do homework, shoot pool, or just chill out)

 6:30 pm – “Pathways” Youth Sacred Space (High School Lounge)

Youth are encouraged to join the Student Ministry’s Facebook group called “First Baptist Greenwood.”  Youth and parents should read the Student Ministry section of the weekly church newsletter to learn about upcoming events.
