children's_church Worship

Childcare (Extended Session)  is provided for newborns through age 4. A time for children is a part of our worship services on most Sundays, after which K5 and younger are invited to leave for Children’s Church in room 117. Our 3rd-6th graders may participate in worship as acolytes*.

*Acolytes are “helpers,” who assist in the worship service each Sunday by lighting the altar candles.  Lighting the candles represents God’s presence among us. This is a very meaningful part of the worship service. Any 3rd-6th grader can be an acolyte after attending a training session. For additional information, please contact Anna Burch.

Children’s Theme Night

Children enjoy a time of games, story lessons, snack supper, fun, and fellowship that are all based around the theme for the night. Theme nights are scheduled monthly throughout the year.
