Children's Music Ministry to present
| The Children's Music Ministry of First Baptist Church will present the musical "It's Cool in the Furnace" on Wednesday evening, May 21, at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Written by Buryl Red and Grace Hawthorne, "Cool" is about Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. It teaches about faith and imparts the great truth of the changelessness and faithfulness of God. |

"Celebration Singers" at First Baptist Church
| The Celebration Singers and Agape' will lead in worship at First Baptist on Sunday, May 25, 2008. This is also Graduate Recognition Sunday.
The Celebration Singers, from Boulevard Baptist Church in Anderson, SC, consists of 26 high school students in grades 9-12. The group is directed by Rev. Tim Hill, Minister of Music at Boulevard. The choir will celebrate their 35th anniversary in August of 2008. The singers have performed in churches, residential programs for persons living with HIV/AIDS, hospitals, children's hospitals, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. |

Vacation Bible School
| Vacation Bible School, for ages 3-grade 5, will begin on Sunday, June 8 with a picnic and carnival kickoff, beginning at 6:00pm. The VBS "Bible Discovery Museum" will take place on June 9-13. All children are invited to come. Call (864) 229-5557 for more information and to register. |
